On Tuesday, April 12th, we had our club's monthly meeting. Things are starting to return to a normal state, as we had 52 members attending!

We were fortunate to have two presenters this month.

The first was a group that we support with our donations, the Edmonds Stream Team. They are made up of students from the Meadowdale High School Environmental Club, as well as students from the Edmonds-Woodway High School Students Saving Salmon Club. They gave an excellent presentation on their work. At the end of the presentation, our club awarded the students a donation in the amount of $1,500, to be used to buy additional equipment needed in their efforts. The donation was $1,000 from our club's Foundation, and another $500 raised from the sale of fly fishing equipment donated by Jane O'Dell and Raymond Brown.

Our second speaker was Dave Schorsch, who delivered an excellent presentation on beauty and realities of fishing sea run cutthroat trout in today's Puget Sound.

There was also another club auction of fly fishing gear held at the meeting, including a box of chironomids tied by last month's speaker, Jerry Buron. After a night of spirited bidding, $230 was added to the Foundation's coffers for future donations.

There's a lot going on in the club, don't miss next month's meeting, or the upcoming group fishing outings! Join today!
