Brian Gran on Montana River Fishing

Only a day's drive from here is some of the best river fishing in Montana. Brian Gran is licensed Montana fishing guide who knows them all. It can be intimidating trying to figure out where, when and how to fish these amazing places. Brian's talk will take the mystery out of fishing the great rivers in and around the Missoula valley.

More on Brian Gran

I have called Stevensville Montana home for the past 32 years. Spending the last 11 years guiding on the Bitterroot, Clark Fork, Blackfoot and Missouri. Also the last 8 years guiding steelhead on the Salmon river in Salmon Idaho. I even spent a year guiding on the Klick in Washington. I have fished all over the Pacific Northwest and BC. But using Missoula Montana as a ground zero allows access to over 450 miles of river and many miles of small streams. Really there is no other place like this for fresh water fly fishing. Starting as early as late February and continuing until early November you can't beat the fishing. And other than some ice here and there. There is no reason one cannot catch a fish every month of the year and even catch a fish on a dry every month of the year.  Brian will be presenting via Zoom to a live audience at the Mountlake Senior Center and to those who prefer to participate at home. Proof of vaccination required for in person attendance.

6:00 Social, 6:30 presentation begins
