Chopaka Lake is the diamond of Washington fly fishing only lakes. There is a Department of Natural Resources campground at the lake as well as tent and RV camping 15 miles away at Spectacle Lake Resort. In June the damsel flies are in full swing and fishing with dry and wet patterns will do the job. There will also likely be a daily mayfly hatch. For you chironomid fishers that is always available at Chopaka.
If you've not made the trip to Chopaka please contact Tom Bradish for more information about how to get to the lake as it is a bit confusing and can be somewhat hazardous.
