Hope you make it this Saturday to Pass Lake.  This day is also the start of the annual WDFW fish census. Led by the Fidalgo flyfishers, over two weeks, this provides  accurate fisheries data to help the state manage this fly fishing only lake.

Anticipate a full parking lot as the census kicks off at 8AM. Car pooling is suggested.

Weather Forecast:  The forecast looks decent. Wind predicted at 8-10 mph, No rain in AM but moving to partly cloudy and afternoon temps near 52.  Here is a link to my favorite weather app.  Weather Wunderground

Don’t forget your Discover Pass!  The yellow WDFW tag is not valid in this lot.  Bring your life vest and whistle (one lake I know anglers have been checked). Flyfishing only limits are 2 flies, no motors, and no two rods allowed.

Please let Tom Bradish know if you are planning to attend.  In case you are wondering why I like to know if you are coming, it's so that we can connect members, socialize a bit and try and help each other out. Hosts keep a roster as part of the club's safety plan.

Fishing techniques and reports

A floating line, indicator, and chiro fishing works well. A second rod with full sink line and typical trolling, booby, and baitfish patterns also produces. Try white leeches. Any questions, contact Tom Bradish at tbradish5@gmail.com
